The Trip
Our story has been split between cities for almost two years.
Now, for once, we are all coming together in the same place — one city, one moment, one celebration.
Some of you call New Orleans home. Others will be experiencing it for the first time. Either way, we are grateful to share this time together in a city that knows how to celebrate life openly and without restraint. New Orleans doesn’t whisper — it sings. Jazz spills into the streets, wrought-iron balconies frame everyday life, and there is always room for one more story, one more song, or one more beignet, no matter the hour.
Much of our time together will be spent on the river and in the French Quarter — one always moving, the other never quite still. Between the steady rhythm of the Mississippi and the energy of the city itself, New Orleans felt like the right place to gather. It is bright, warm, and unapologetically alive — a city that reflects both the journey that brought us here and the spirit of this celebration.

Where to stay?
New Orleans has plenty of options — classic hotels, boutique guesthouses, and Airbnbs. Most of the city is easy to navigate by rideshare, and the French Quarter is best explored on foot.
If you’d like to stay close to the boat and wherever we end up afterward, these areas are the most convenient:
French Quarter — Lively and historic, right in the middle of everything.
Marigny / Bywater — Colorful streets, music around the corner, a bit more local.
Central Business District (CBD) — Modern hotels, still just a short walk or ride away.
Let us know if you need help choosing a spot!

Getting Here
If you're flying, the main airport is MSY (Louis Armstrong Airport) — about 20–30 minutes from the French Quarter by Uber or taxi.
Driving works too. Just expect one-way streets and the occasional parade detour.
For our local friends
You already know your way around, just show up where the music and the boat is. We're thrilled to have you join us!
